Sunny & her person did awesome with their first session. We’re working on installing a “chill button” when Sunny sees people she’d like to greet.

One of the first things we do with a dog who wants to say hello to everyone is increase the value of the person (usually with the yes game) and then decrease the value of the person they want to greet (by no talking, no touching and no eye contact).

Enjoyed a 5 ish mile hike with the pups at Allegany State Park today and I tried out my 8 pound weighted vest for something other than a walk around the block.

Razz wished we could have moved just a tiny bit faster.

Teach your dog the “place” command to teach them to get on top of surfaces. This is one of Razz’s favorite commands and I use it for everything from the scale at the vets to fallen tree in the woods to build her confidence.
